Shirley Corlew, 81, of Springfield, died at 4:05 a.m. Saturday, August 21, 2004 in Butler, PA.

Shirley was born July 17, 1923 in Salisbury, MO the daughter of Hirley and Orpha Lee Henderson. She married C. Lawsen Corlew, December 31, 1953 in Salisbury, MO.

Mrs. Corlew was a homemaker and a member of Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) and she was a very active member of Home Extension.

She is survived by her husband, C. Lawsen of Springfield, one son: Randall L. (wife, Leslie) Corlew of Butler, PA; one daughter: Rebecca S. (husband, Roy) Wingfield of Bates City, MO and three grandsons: Joshua Wingfield, Matthew and Nicholas Corlew.

Family will receive friends from 5-8:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 24, 2004 at Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home, 900 S. 6th St. Springfield where the Daughters of the American Revolution will have services at 6:30 p.m. Funeral Services will be at 9:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 25, 2004 at Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home, 900 S. 6th St. Springfield with Scott Brindley officiating. Burial will be at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, August 26, 2004 at Salisbury City Cemetery in Salisbury, MO.
