My cousin who fought a brave battle with cancer, twice. He faced it head on and never asked for any sympathy. Successfully fought through one type of cancer, only to have it come back as another. The staff at UC Davis Medical Center were very wonderful to the family through all of his treatments. He was loved by many, and worked very hard to graduate with his class of 1994 at Hiram Johnson High School. He was at the graduation and it was a very proud moment for him. Me, his sister, Toni and him loved spending summers at our grandparents home, doing puzzles, going to the zoo, using our imaginations and going to yard sales with our grandparents. Both him and his sister spent a lot of time at Grandma and Grandpa's house, because they were lucky enough to live right down the street. He was also very close to his little sister, Ivy, as well. The "Make-A-Wish" foundation was wonderful to Jake and made a lot of his dreams come true in the end.

He was the eldest child of Debra (Byers) Reed and Alfred Limas. Also was survived by his sisters, Toni and Ivy. Along with several aunts, uncles and cousins on both sides. Grandparents Alfred & Robbie Limas and Larry & Mary Byers.
