Amasa 'Macy' Beason was the son of Thomas and Keziah (Turner) Beason. He married Miss Phoebe Smith on 26 Nov 1845 in Greene County Ohio and later moved his family to Maryville, Nodaway Co., MO. After Phoebe died he made his home with daughter Elizabeth, wife of Albert Ross Smith, in Council Bluffs, Iowa. The following newspaper articles show his burial at Maryville where his wife was also buried. Cemetery name not given.
