Dominique P Campbell was the daughter of my coworker Daphne. I saw her grow up and become a really hard working person. She enhanced the lives of all on Ju,y 1st, 1988, to the union of Gerald and Daphne Campbell. She had an infectious smile which would bring joy to all who knew her. She had the uncanny ability to find humor in all of life's ups and down. I guess that was her special gift. Dominique was baptized in 2002 in New Saint John M.B. Church, under the leadership of Pastor Elder Marcus W. Beckham. While growing up her mom knew the value of education so of course Dominique graduated from ACT Charter school and continued her education at Northern Illinois University.

Dominique worked in the field of logistics for many years and recently was employed by the Metropolitan Limousine company. Dominique would often assist her colleagues and satisfied customers by utilizing her problem solving and critical thinking skills, yet another gift. She often had the ability aloso to remain calm and rational no matter what situation she encountered. She was a self taught artist, often expressing herself with yet another gift of using different types of mediums to create art on shows, canvases, T-shirts and even cardboard boxes.

Dominique was preceded in death by her father Gerald Campbell, two sisters; Dayneshia and Audrey Campbell, grandparents Martha Johnston, Eddie Lee Sr and Leticia Campbell.

Dominique leaves to cherish her memory; her mother Daphne Smith and stepfather Amose Wise Sr, her grandparents Bennie and Alma Smith, one sister Latisa Campbell, one brother Amose Wise Jr, two nieces Harmoni and Coryann, her special cousin Robyn, her special friend Ryan Carpenter and a host of Aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

She will be missed, and although she left this earth, she hasn't left the hearts of those she reached. May she always be at peace and that her mom will always know how much her daughter loved her.
