James “Jim” Carty, 88 passed away August 5, 2020 in Pueblo, Colorado.
He was born in Harris, North Carolina and was the son of Gentry and Pauline Carty.
He owned Carty Construction for 35 years.
Jim was a member of the ELKS, Sartoma, the Eagles, and the Masonic Lodge.
He enjoyed stock car racing and classic car restoration.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents, and son Dan.
He is survived by his children: Ralph, Chris, Charles, and Peggy; his grandchildren: Marsha McDermott, Brian Carty, Nichole Thomas, Crystal Provost, Heidi Choat, and Lisa Jefferies; 15 great grandchildren, 1 great great granddaughter, and his sister Joan Smith.
Due to COVID 19 restrictions, private services are being held for the family.
