Youngest son of Ernest Edward Adkins and Florence Minnie Allen who were married on the 12th August 1907 at St. John the Evangelist's Church, Clapham, Surrey.
Geoffrey married Edna Irene Lindsay on the 14th February 1942 at St. Barbara's Church, Earlsdon, Coventry, Warwickshire.
He was employed in his father's leather/textile business, Messrs. Tooby, Adkins and Co. Ltd. Geoffrey and Edna were both members of the Guildhall Amateur Operatic Society.
Just ten weeks after marrying Edna, Geoffrey passed away peacefully at home, 6, Spencer Road, Coventry. Funeral service took place on the 30th April at St. Barbara's Church, Earlsdon, Coventry.
Geoffrey died aged 24.
Resting with his brother, Roland, who died 8th February 1976, aged 63.
And his sister, Eileen, who died 13th April 1999, aged 89.
