YORK Dorothy R. (Geisler) Dunavin, 80, passed away Tuesday, September 4, 2007, at Colonial Manor Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center, York. She was the wife of C. Allen Dunavin with whom she celebrated their 61st wedding anniversary August 3, 2007. Mrs. Dunavin was born in York County, on March 16, 1927, to the late Ervin and Sydney M. (Fulton) Geisler. In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, John A. Dunavin and his wife, Linda of Dover, and Jack A. Dunavin and his wife, Debra of Mt. Wolf; two daughters, Judy A. Noel of York, and Jane A. Munchel and her husband, Fred of York; six grandchildren, Jennifer, Kristen, Lauren, Nathan, Ashley, and Courtney; six greatgrandchildren, Natalie, Shane, Leighton, Jason, Holly, and Bryce; and one sister, Gladys Gettys of Gains. She was preceded in death by two grandchildren, Eric and Lisa; and one brother, Richard Geisler. Her funeral service will be held Friday at 10 a.m. from the LeRoy R. Leber Funeral Home Inc., 2290 School St., York (Shiloh). Dorothy's final resting place will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery.
