Robert F. Dagle, 79, RR1 Northumberland NORTHUMBERLAND Robert F. Dagle, 79, of RR1 Northumberland died Wednesday, July 11, 2001, at Sunbury Community Hospital. He was born May 7, 1922, in Seven Points, a son of the late Elmer Dale and Myrtle (Dunkelberger) Dagle Brosious. He was an Army veteran who served in the Pacific during World War II. Mr. Dagle was employed as a manager by the Dutch Pantry restaurants. For the last 17 years, he was employed in production by Resilite Sports Products, Northumberland. He was a member of the Sunbury Elks Club, the Northumberland Moose and American Legion Post 201, Sunbury. He was an avid golfer and a devout Penn State football fan. Mr. Dagle was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church, Selinsgrove. Surviving are four daughters, Frances A. Ranck and Darlene Dagle, both of Northumberland, Linda L. Stover of New Britain and Donna L. Schrader of RR Sunbury; two sons, William R. of She (to n , Wa s h., a n d N e d E. o f Selinsgrove; 21 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; two stepsisters, Melva Swinehart and Madelyn Beck, both of Northumberland; one stepbrother, Byron Brosious of Harrisburg; nieces; and nephews. He was preceded in death by one stepsister, Sylvia Shively. Visitors may call from 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday at Wesley United Methodist Church, 300 Rhoads Ave., Selinsgrove. The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday at the church by the Rev. Donald Rowe. There will be a cemetery committal service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 71 N. Franklin St., Wilkes-Barre, PA 18701. Funeral arrangements were by the David T. Zweier Funeral Home Inc., 157 Chestnut St., Sunbury.
