She was born probably in Fentress County, Tennessee, since that is where her youngest sister, Mary L. Helm, was born. She married Benjamin F. Brickey, in Hart County, Kentucky on 15 Jan 1856. Their children were Mary Belle (Brickey) Pitman then Halsey (1858-aft 1920), Christopher B. Brickey (abt 1860-???), George Thomas Brickey (1862-1935) and Albert C. Brickey (abt 1867-???). Benjamin, his son George Thomas and George's wife Loretta are also buried in the same cemetery.
