Ellis Austin Parks, 69, of Sugar Grove, died in a Marion hospital Wednesday afternoon.
Funeral service will be held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Cave Ridge Church of God, near Sugar Grove, with the Rev. Grover Jones and the Rev. Henry Colvard officiating. Burial will follow in the Slemp Cemetery.
He is survived by his widow, the former Eliza Jones; one daughter, Mrs. Mary Testerman, Sugar Grove; one brother, Noah M. Parks, Sugar Grove; one sister, Mrs. Brad Stone, Sugar Grove, and three grandchildren.
The body was to be taken to the home this Thursday morning at 11 o'clock from Barnett's Funeral Home in Marion.
