Riley was born in Houston TX. He loved music, and was a musician for most of his life. He was part of the "Bradshaw Gang of Central Texas" for many years, as well as his own project "Night Movies." Even in his last days he was playing his keyboard and singing. His beautiful voice will live on within our hearts.
Survivors are Wife, Bonnie Smith of Waco, brother, Carl Smith of Houston; and sister, Bridget Smith of Houston, Rose Pena of Houston, Son Riley Smith Jr. of Houston, son Justin "Smith" Ford of Hutchinson, Ks. Uncle Dolan Smith of Houston Texas. Niece Heather Gillespie and Nephew Thomas Gillespie of Waco, Texas.
Riley was preceded in death by his father Riley Smith, mother Mickie Pena and sister Marilyn Smith
He was well known by many Central Texans, and will be missed not only by his family, but by his many friends and former band mates
