Forrest Raymond Fauber, 44, died in Martinsville, Va., on Feb. 21. He was born in Charlottesville, Va., in 1961. He lived in various locations during his life, including Shawnee-on-Delaware from 1971 to approximately 1980. He lived in Waynesboro, Va., from 1983 through approximately 1995. He was of the Christian faith.

He served in the U.S. Marine Corps, attaining the rank of sergeant prior to his honorable discharge in 1993. He was a life member of the Disabled American Veterans.

He was preceded in death by his father, Claude R. Fauber Jr., and two brothers, Nelson D. Fauber 9/23/05 and Bryan D. Fauber 9/14/83. He is survived by his mother, Mildred C. Fauber of Delaware Water Gap, his brother, Robert E. Fauber of Point-of-Rocks, Md., and his brother Mark G. Fauber of Mechanicsburg. He also is survived by several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service is planned for 1 p.m. Monday, Feb. 27, at Augusta Memorial Park and Mausoleum in Waynesboro, Va.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Disabled American Veterans.
