"Big-hearted Gail Veronica Abernethy," 37, passed away April 4, 1994 in West Valley City.

Born August 9, 1956 in Salt Lake City to Ben E. and Angie Archuleta Lopez. Married Steve Abernethy. Later divorced.Survived by her father, West Valley; mother, Boise, Idaho; grandmother, Bertha Vigil, Santa Fe, New Mexico; two daughters, Felicia and Monica, both West Valley. Also survived by a brother, Steve; half brother, Don; half sister, Dana, all Boise, Idaho; half sister, Lisa, Twin Falls, Idaho; several aunts, uncles, nieces and one nephew, and a special friend, Jimmy.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, 10 a.m., at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 2840 South 9000 West, Magna. A vigil service will be held Thursday, 7 p.m. also at the church, where friends may visit Thursday, 6-7 p.m. Committal service, Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 4th Avenue and T Street. Funeral directors, Neil O'Donnell & Sons Mortuary.
