Jack Adcock went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 25, 2020.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. at Twin Bridges Baptist Church on Saturday, July 4, 2020 @ Alexandria, Louisiana.

He was born in Columbus, Ohio on January 9, 1950, to Lewis and Annabelle (Clark) Adcock. For 49 years Jack was a faithful and devoted member of Hope Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon for 25 years. Jack fulfilled many roles while working at Hope Baptist Church. He taught Sunday School, worked in nursing home ministry, and kept the church buses mechanically tuned (which he loved). Jack had a Sunday morning route where he picked up his fellow brothers and sisters and brought them to church.

SSGT. Jack E. Adcock proudly served his country for eight years in the United States Air Force from 1968 to 1976. He was a Vietnam veteran having served there from 1969 through 1970.

Those left to cherish his memories are his beloved wife of 49 years, Sharon (Cutrer) Adcock, his three daughters; Donna Marie Adcock, Shanda Fay Lachney and husband, Alan Lachney, Diana Adcock Cutrer and husband, Steven Cutrer; two sons, Joseph Eric Adcock and wife Shanda McRae Adcock, and James Douglas Adcock and wife Missy Shaub Adcock. He is also survived by two brothers, Tim Adcock and wife Katy, and Walter Adcock and wife Annette.

His grandchildren are Laura Lachney, Nathan Lachney, Jamie Lachney, Anna Sweat, Presley Adcock, Maelynn Adcock and Brock Adcock.
