William Harty, aged about 67, former Kinsman merchant, who was killed in an accident in Joliet Wednesday evening when struck by a car driven by a 15-year-old youth, will be buried from St. Patrick's Church in Joliet at 9:30 o'clock Saturday morning. Burial will follow in the family lot in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Ransom.
In addition to his widow, the former Annie Trainor of Kinsman, Mr. Harty leaves three children: Parnell, home on a 30-day leave from the Philippines; Emmett, in service in India; and Helen Dolan, whose husband is in service, at home. A son, Harold, pilot in the Air Force, was killed over Germany about a year ago.
A brother, Dan Harty, resides here and another brother, Tim, lives in Seneca. There is one sister, Margaret McNamara, who also lives in Seneca.
