Johanna P. Young was born Aug. 25,1899, in Davenport, a daughter of Emil and Louisa Wriedt Joens. She married the late Lionel K. Young March 18, 1918, in Davenport.
Survivors include two sons, Jack Sr. and Kenneth; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three brothers and a sister.
For may years, she was a dress designer and seamstress. She moved from the Davenport area 14 years ago.
