Fred Allen Bohannon, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, passed away Friday August 17, 2007, in Rolla, MO. Fred was born to Callie(Rose)and Allen P. Bohannon, March 28, 1915 in Shawnee, Oklahoma grauated from Shawnee High School and attended Tulsa Business College. He was married almost 50 years to his devoted wife, Nadine, who preceded him in death in 1989. He was employed 38 years as a bookkeeper, office manager and Treasurer for Noble Drilling Corp. in the Tulsa, Casper, WY and Denver, CO offices. After retiring in 1977, he spent several days each week at the old family farm in Shawnee, where he raised wheat and hay and ran a cow-calf operation. For the past 3 years, he had lived in Rolla, with his daughter and family. He was a longtime member of First Presbyterian Church of Tulsa, serving as Elder, Deacon and Trustee and volunteering for Meals on Wheels and Helping Hand. He was a past member of Pilgrim-Rock Lodge No. 522 and was a 32nd degree Mason in the Tulsa Scottish Rite. [living names omitted] Visitation is 6-8 pm Thursday August, 23, 2007 at Moore's Southlawn Chapel in Tulsa. Sevice will be 11:00 am Friday August 24, 2007 at Moore's Southlawn Chapel, with burial immediately following in Memorial Park Cemetery.
