Harold William Anderson, 72, of Rock Creek, WV passed away at Thursday, May 21, 2020 at the St. Francis Hospital, Charleston, WV. He was born at Rock Creek, on Nov. 16, 1947. He was a worked at J.P. Hamer Sawmill at Edwight, WV as Lumber Grader for 25 years. He loved the outdoors, especially fishing and always a quick wit and like to make people laugh. He was always kind to everybody and loved everyone he met. He is survived by his wife, Linda and a daughter, Shelia Hardy and husband, Jerry of Beckley, WV; a sister, Rosemary Bailey of Rock Creek; a brother-in-law, Randy Pettry of Sylvester, WV; sister-in-laws, Sarah Burnette of Sundial, WV, Barbara Buzzard of Florida, Betsy Anderson of GA; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Clinton and Irene Anderson of Rock Creek, brothers, James Anderson and Roger Dale Anderson of Rock Creek, WV. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 26, 2020 at 2:00 in the Rock Creek Community Church Rock Creek, WV with Pastor Donnie Russell officiating. Interment will follow in the Cantley Family Cemetery Rock Creek, WV. The visitation will begin at 12 o'clock noon at the church.
