Doris Aileen (Seaman) Cash, 75, wife of Ralph Wilson Cash, of 362 Seaman Lane, Montebello, died Nov. 12 at her residence. She was born June 22, 1931, in Nelson County, the daughter of Wilson Wallace and Ethna Hill (Fauber) Seaman. Prior to retirement, Mrs. Cash had been employed by the Nelson County Schools as a secretary at Fleetwood Elementary School. She was a member of Mt. Paran Baptist Church. She enjoyed horseback riding, working with the youth in 4 -H, and was an EMT with the Montebello Rescue Squad. Mrs. Cash was an artist who enjoyed painting with oils.
In addition to her husband, family members include two sons and daughters-in-law, Luther Wilson and Catherine Cash of Fairfield, and Stanley Hill and Kim Cash of Montebello, and a grandchild, Taylor Michael Cash.
A service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 15 at Mt. Paran Baptist Church by the Rev. Wyatt Mayes. Burial will follow in the Haines Chapel Cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be Hampton Fauber, Ellis Fauber, Edward Rothgeb, Kenneth Fitzgerald, Lyle Bradley and Mitchell Seaman. The family requests that memorials be sent to AMC Hospice of the Shenandoah, P.O. Box 215, Fishersville, VA 22939.
