Miriam Esperum Bern, 52, died after a short struggle with Covid-19 on Wednesday May 27, 2020 in Seattle, Washington. She was born on February 16, 1968 in Seattle, Washington and due to several medical conditions, Cerebral Palsy being foremost, was placed into foster care with Harold and Donna Esperum, to which they raised her till her adulthood. As a child Miriam went to the Lowell School in Capitol Hill, Seattle for handicapped children.

Miriam is survived by her foster mother Donna Esperum, brothers: Duane (Steffanie), Dale (Connie), Curtis (Lori); her aunt, Karen Esperum-Kelley; five nephews, a niece, two great nephews and two great nieces. Her father Harold preceded her in death.

Although she had many difficulties, she lived life to her fullest ability, loved to laugh and enjoyed her family and friends. Funeral services will be privately held. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Miriam's name to the Cerebral Palsy Foundation (cpf.org).
