Mrs. Martha Ann Campbell Fauber, 88, of Roanoke, died Tuesday at Martha Jefferson Hospital in Charlottesville.

Mrs. Fauber was born on Feb 26, 1880 in Nelson County, a daughter of the late Thomas M. and Eliza Jane Moran Campbell. Her husband William Edward Fauber preceded her in death.

Surviving are five sons, Claude Fauber and Hersey Fauber both of Waynesboro, Elmer Fauber of Roanoke, Manley Fauber of Lexington and Page Fauber of Hagerstown, Md.; four daughters, Mrs. H. B. Stephenson of Staunton, Mrs. Leroy Saunders of Charlottesville, Mrs. Evelyn Bise of Roanoke and Mrs. Robert Tucker of Lynchburg; one sister, Mrs. W. S. Allen of Amherst; 38 grandchildren and 53 great grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 2pm Friday at the First Baptist Church. Burial will be in Augusta Memorial Park Cemetery near Waynesboro. The Hill and Irving Funeral Home of Charlottesville is in charge of arrangements.
