Ernie L. Mathis Sr. Age 62, of Braidwood, IL, died peacefully in his sleep on August 7, 2007.
He served in the U.S. Army in Vietnam. He was employed at Olin Chemical, Joliet, IL.
He is survived by his wife, Leona, nee Anderson; a son, Ernie Jr. and a granddaughter, Sahra D. Mathis. Ernie will be sorely missed by his family and friends.
A Memorial Service was held on August 13, 2007 at 10:00 am at Abraham Lincoln Cemetery.
