Sgt. Clifton D. "Spooky" Johnson of Reform, Alabama joined the Army in 2002 after working a few years in the Millport area following graduation from Pickens County High School. He had been overseas for almost a year. He was killed when the Army truck he was driving was involved in an accident at age 24.
