Charlotte Joan Blumenstein, age 90 years, passed away peacefully on May 7, 2020 at her home in Bay City, Michigan. Charlotte was born on November 16, 1929 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Edger B. and Leontine (VanMol) Huggett. On July 17, 1954, she married Robert Max Blumenstein and he preceded her in death on December 11, 2014. They met at Western Michigan University and were married in the chapel on campus. Charlotte is survived by her 4 children: Pamela Stahl, Scott (Cathy) Blumenstein, Susan (Craig) Smigiel and Katherine (Kurt) Feller, 6 grandchildren: Lauren (Josh) Barber, Kyle (Melissa) Stahl, Lesley (Andrew) Larson and Eden, Brooke and Lucy Feller. She is also survived by her 6 beautiful great grandchildren.

Charlotte absolutely loved her family. She also loved her time at Mullett Lake, where she resided with Bob since 1967. Charlotte was an excellent athlete and played on the Western Michigan University Tennis Team and was an avid golfer at both Bay City Country Club and Mullett Lake Country Club. Her memberships included Beta Sigma Phi Sorority and Sadie Toeppner Garden Club of Michigan. Charlotte also was a lifelong member of Westminister Presbyterian Church in Bay City.

Charlotte’s family would like to give a special thank you to Comfort Keepers of Bay City and Cheboygan and also to McLaren Hospice of Bay City for the care and support that Charlotte received from them. Cremation has taken place and a private family gathering will be held later.
