Funeral services for Terri L. Stutz, 44, Kansas City, Kan., will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Warren-McElwain Mortuary in Lawrence. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery in Lawrence.
Mrs. Stutz died Wednesday, May 9, 2007, at Kansas City Hospice House in Kansas City, Mo.
She was born March 2, 1963, in Kansas City, Kan., the daughter of Larry Joseph and Sarah Jane McGilton Phillips. She received a Bachelor of Science in early-childhood education and a Master of Arts from Kansas University.
Mrs. Stutz was a teacher at the Southeast and English Landing elementary schools for many years. She was a member of St. Therese Catholic Church in Kansas City, Mo.
She married Thomas M. Stutz on Oct. 15, 1994, in Lawrence. He survives, of the home.
Other survivors include a daughter, Jennifer Ann McConnell, of the home; her mother, Sarah Phillips, Gladstone, Mo.; three brothers, Michael Phillips, Los Angeles, Steven Phillips, Singapore, and Patrick Phillips, Kansas City, Mo.; and a sister, Sheryl Goodwin, Kansas City, Mo.
The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. today at the mortuary.
The family suggests memorials to Kansas City Hospice House, the American Diabetes Association or Midwest Organ Bank, sent in care of the mortuary.
