Age 85, of Stowe Township, passed away peacefully on Saturday morning, May 02, 2020 at his residence with his family by his side. Beloved husband of 62 years to Barbara Balzer.
Dear father of John (Kathy) Balzer, Joseph (Pam) Balzer, Jean (Michael) Kosobucki and the late Linda Balzer. Also survived by six grandchildren: Katie, Johnathan, Rebecca, Hannah, Gabrielle and Noah in addition to many other family members.
John proudly served our country in the US Navy during the Korean War and worked for Western Union for 35 years. A memorial service with military honors and a celebration of his life will be announced at a later date. John will be interred at the National Cemetery of The Alleghenies.
