Jerod John Beckwith 1980-2007 ADAMS - Jerod John Beckwith, 26 of 28 Valley St. died Thursday following a motorcycle accident on East Rd. in Adams. At the time of his death, Mr.Beckwith was employed by Della Trucking Co. in Adams as a diesel mechanic. He leaves his mother Linda (Corbiere) Beckwith and partner Karl Miller of Pittsfield, his father John Beckwith and his step-mother Pearlene Beckwith of Hillsborough NC, his fiance Lindsey Dellaghelfa and daughter Mackenzie Beckwith of Cheshire. He also leaves his brothers Joshua of Pittsfield, Kurt Miller of Hinsdale, and Dustin Beckwith of Hillsborough, NC, his sisters Lisa Beckwith of Washington, DC, Jessica Miller of Hinsdale. He also leaves stepbrothers David, Patrick, and Gregory Hefty, and stepsister Amanda Hefty. He leaves his maternal grandmother Dolores Corbiere and the late Raymond J. Corbiere of Adams, paternal grandfather and step-grandmother Luke and Ellen Beckwith of Lee and paternal grandmother and step-grandfather Joanne and Donald Barcomb of Adams. He will be sadly missed by his godparents Robin Nally and Daniel Therrien of Chicopee along with his many aunts, uncles, cousins and his nephew Lucius Copeland of Washington DC. Jerods' greatest loves were his daughter, motorcycles, guitars and nature. Jerod attended schools in Western MA and Hillsborough NC. A liturgy of Christian burial of Jerod John Beckwith, who died Thursday June 7, 2007 will be celebrated Wednesday at 10:00a.m. at Notre Dame Church in Adams. Burial will follow in Belleview Cemetery. The family will greet friends Tuesday from 4 to 7 p.m. at McBride Funeral Home, 6 Liberty St., Adams 01220. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Jerod may be made for his daughter Mackenzie through the funeral home.
