Brandon Wilson Blizzard-Mayne, 16, of Westminster, died February 13, 2007 at his home.
Born August 22, 1990 in Westminster, he was the son of Latisha Coale Mayne and Robert M. Mayne III of Westminster.
He was in his junior year at Winters Mill High School, where he was a member of the Junior ROTC. He was a member of Boy Scout Troop 630 and was an avid snowboarder and skateboarder. He enjoyed playing computer and Playstation games. He loved to go to the movies, listen to music and hang out with his friends. He was a member of Ascension Episcopal Church.
Surviving, in addition to his parents, are Grandparents Wilson Blizzard, Sr., Marsha and Robert Heaton, Jim Flanagan, Robert Mayne, Jr. and Ruth Coale; Great Grandparents Gladys Fuhrman, Viola Kinna, Shirley Mayne and Richard Sipes. He was the nephew of Nicole Flanagan, Rhonda Moore, Jessica Flanagan and Ben Ganjon and was survived by many cousins and friends. He was pre-deceased by his biological father, Wilson Blizzard, Jr., grandparents Ronald Coale and Millie Blizzard and by great grandparents Gaynelle Sipes and William Kinna, Sr., and Walter Fuhrman.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 19, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. in the Great Hall at Ascension Episcopal Church, 23 N. Court St., Westminster. Officiating will be Rev. Ronald Fisher. A luncheon will follow the services. Interment will be at Resthaven Memorial Gardens at 2:30pm in Frederick.
Friends may pay their respects at Pritts Funeral Home and Chapel, 412 Washington Rd., Westminster on Sunday, February 18, 2007 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Brandon Mayne Memorial Fund, C/O New Windsor State Bank, 810 Market St., Westminster, MD 21157. Contributions will then be made to the Westminster Skate Park.
