Private graveside services celebrating the life of Mrs. Ruby Nell Ambrose will be held Thursday, April 9, 2020, at Liberty Chapel Cemetery, Williana, under the direction of Rush Funeral Home, Pineville.
Mrs. Ambrose, 59, of Colfax, entered eternal rest on Monday, April 6, 2020, at Colfax Reunion Rehabilitation Center in Colfax, LA.
She served in the National Guard and enjoyed riding motorcycles, fishing, camping and spending time with family and friends. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Johnny and Gertrudy Thrower; maternal grandparents, Leonard and Estella Snell and her father, William Ardis Thrower.
Those left to mourn her loss and cherish her memory include her husband, Bobby Ambrose, of Colfax; her mother, Emily McCartney and her husband, Tom; three stepchildren, Melissa Mcglaughlin, of Boyce, Michelle Ambrose, of Boyce and Bobby Dale Ambrose, Jr., of Boyce; two sisters, Betty Lou Johnson, of Sterlington and Maryann Johnson, of Sterlington; one nephew, Randell Cruse and his wife, Helen, of Sterlington; one niece, Farrah Beebe and her husband, Jared, of Boyce; great nephew, Kyren Beebe, of Boyce; great niece, Kinslee Beebe, of Boyce and seven grandchildren.
