ABERLE, Lillian K. age 89, of Miami Township passed away Friday, August 3, 2007 at her home. She is preceded in death by her husband Robert C. Aberle; parents Stanley and Victoria Adams; five brothers; and three sisters. Lillian is survived by her daughters Victoria Aberle, Gabrielle Aberle, and Roberta Herwig; granddaughter Rebecca, great grandson Niko; sister Marie Woodward; and other family and special friends. Lil was born on March 13, 1918 and was a 1936 graduate of Kaiser High School. She and her husband Bob were well known in the Dayton area for their accomplishments in rollerskate dancing. As a homemaker, Lillian devoted herself to caring for her family. In her 80's, Lillian became a five year volunteer at a nursing home. She was fond of gardening, especially her famous tomatoes. A lady of great spirit and generosity, she will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM Monday August 13, 2007 at Calvary Cemetery, 1625 Calvary Ave. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Society for the Improvement of Conditions for Stray Animals (SICSA), 2600 Wilmington Pike Kettering, Ohio 45419. Arrangements in care of Newcomer Funeral Home, Kettering.
