Bernie Casey was an American actor, poet, and professional football player. He was born on June 8, 1939 in Wyco, West Virginia, USA as Bernard Terry Casey, the son of Flossie (Coleman) and Frank Leslie Casey. He graduated from East High School in Columbus, Ohio

He was an actor and director, known for Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure (1989), Never Say Never Again (1983) and Revenge of the Nerds (1984). He was married to Paula.

Casey enjoyed painting and writing poetry. Look at the People, a book of his paintings and poems, was published by Doubleday in 1969. He died at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles on September 19, 2017, after a stroke.
