On the late night of June 1, 1970, the Denver Police Department were called to the area of 15th and Cleveland place on a report of a man down. Upon arrival, officers found Delorn, age 70 face down and bleeding on the sidewalk. Sadly, he died at the scene. The case was investigated as a robbery/homicide, however 50 years later in 2020 the case remains cold and no suspects were ever identified or brought to justice. If anyone has any information about the murder of Delorn Fiene, they are urged to call the DPD Cold Case Unit.
