Val Abkarjan, 38, passed away November 1, 2018, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Mr. Abkarjan was born on August 16, 1980, in Parnu, Estonia, a son of Gregory and Eldi (Roodmae) Abkarjan. Val’s family moved to the United States in 1993. He was a graduate of South Range High School.

Val was employed as a truck driver. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, but his greatest love was his children. He cherished the time he spent with family and friends.

He leaves to cherish his precious memory his father Gregory; his two children Kaden and Elizabeth; a brother Armen (Lola) Abkarjan; half-sisters Lia Levitsky and Angelika Parind; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Mr. Abkarjan was preceded in death by his mother, Eldi.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, November 8, 2018 from 5:00pm-7:00pm at the Seederly-Mong & Beck Funeral Home Columbiana Chapel, 154 S. Elm St., Columbiana.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations may be made to the funeral home to defray the funeral expenses.

The family has entrusted Seederly-Mong & Beck Funeral Home to handle arrangements.
