Rachael Elizabeth Goodpaster, 22, passed into the loving arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus on Tuesday, Aug. 7, 2007.
Memorial service: 7 p.m. Monday at Celebration Church Trans-Continental Campus in Metairie, La. Visitation: The family will receive friends 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday in the parlor of Lucas Keller Funeral Home, 137 E. Hill St., Keller.
Rachael recently relocated to Fort Worth from New Orleans along with her family. Although she deeply missed New Orleans, she quickly settled in Texas. She was the happiest she had ever been, enjoying her relationships with family and friends in Texas.
She attended Gateway Church with her family. She will be deeply missed, but will be remembered for her smile, her sense of humor and the love and joy she brought to her family and all who knew her.
Rachael was preceded in death by her grandparents, Ronald and Inez Egan, Robert Goodpaster and Dallas Fruits.
Survivors: Parents, Terry and Madeleine Goodpaster of Fort Worth; sister and brother-in-law, Renee and Adam Lapino of Fort Worth; brothers, Seth, Nathan James, Samuel and Carson Goodpaster, all of Fort Worth; grandparents, Margaret and Lewis Jones of Dayton, Ohio; great-uncle, Forest Egan of River Ridge, La.; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends.
