Justin Michael Samela-Miceli, 19, lifelong resident of New Rochelle, departed this life on August 7, 2007.

Justin was born February 23, 1988 in New Rochelle, a child of Alicia Samela and John Miceli. He attended Holy Name Grammar School, Iona Prep, and was preparing to start his sophomore year at Iona College. While at Iona Prep, he played on the football team. Justin was very active among his peers and had a zest for life. He had a desire to succeed, which was evident in his school grades and his work ethic. He worked at the Cheesecake Factory in White Plains. Justin was active in the Boy Scouts having attained the rank of "Eagle Scout". He enjoyed working on and fixing up his 1966 Ford Mustang.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his siblings, Noelle and Nicholas Miceli; his step-mother, Wendy Miceli; his step-brothers, John and Daniel Rieman; both sets of grandparents, Mary and Frank Miceli and Bill "Iya" and Phyllis Samela; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Visiting hours will be Wednesday evening 7-9 pm and Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Funeral Mass is scheduled for Friday, 9:30 am, at Holy Name Church. Interment will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
