Vincent James Krajewski Polish name by His Dear Parents was Wincenty James Krajewski. Wincenty James was the ONLY Son of Zygmunt "Ziggy" Krajewski and Marja "Mary" Geborene Nadarzynska / Nadarzeniska. The couple had been living in a Dp(Displaced Persons) camp where they had two daughter's that were all born in Poland and the last known place is my understanding, they were forced to work during WWII.
After WWII, they were due to go to Australia, but Vincent came down with mumps and they had to come to America in which they were very grateful.

Departure
4th October 1949 • Bremerhaven, Germany
Last known camp: Wildflecken, Bad Kissingen District, Germany Manifest No.: 34 Class: Dp (Displaced Persons, WWII) Arriving: at Port of Boston, Massachusetts on USAT 'General Hersey' Family Line's: 9-13

Arrival
October 1949 • Boston, Suffolk, Massachusetts, USA
Last known camp: Wildflecken, Bad Kissingen District, Germany Manifest No.: 34 Class: Dp (Displaced Persons, WWII) Arriving: at Port of Boston, Massachusetts on USAT 'General Hersey' Family Line's: 9-13
1949

Army Service
He was stationed at the DMZ as they were on high-alert due to This U.S.S. Pueblo being captured. They were also on guard duty, guarding the munitions shack and were to carry their protection...but their protection was not allowed to be loaded due to concerns it would start a national incident. It is my understanding that they were guarding where the Pueblo was due to concern of war!
Told the best way I recall.
