Richard Norman Pennington, age 61, of Cabins, WV died Tuesday at Grant Memorial Hospital in Petersburg,W.V.
Richard was born August 28, 1945 in Scherr, W.V. and was the son of the late Norman H. Pennington and Gaye M. Likens-Pennington.
He is survived by his wife, Louisa J. Moyers-Pennington.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by three sisters, Eleanor M. Varner, Shirley J. Sowers and Betty A. Hoover, two brothers, Robert A. Pennington and James E. Pennington.
He is survived by two sons, Richard D. Moyers of Moorefield, W.V. and Cowan H. Pennington of Cabins, W.V.,
three daughters, Bonnie Moyers of Dorcas, W.V., Brenda Snapp of Fisher, W.V. and Melissa Hawk of Dorcas, W.V., three sisters, Sherry M. Charleton of Phoenix,Az., Linda S. Pennington, of Petersburg,W.V. and Wilma F. Avila of Elgin, Il., two brothers, Russell L. Pennington of Petersburg, W.V. and Roger L. Pennington of Cabins, W.V.
He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held at the Lighthouse Community Church, which he was a member, Maysville,W.V., with the Rev. Leslie Paugh officiating. Place of Rest, Maysville Cemetery, Maysville, W.V.
He worked at the former Hester's Inc., now Pilgrims Pride,in Moorefield, W.V.
