Mrs. Wilhelm was a member of Christ Episcopal Church, where she volunteered in the herb garden. She also volunteered in St. Johns County elementary schools in many ways, including reading to children. She was the founder of The Widow's Group at the Plantation in Ponte Vedra. Mrs. Wilhelm also was a talented watercolor artist. She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Oliver Wilhelm.
Survivors include her son, Robert Wilhelm and his wife, Darlene; daughters, Lynn Wilhelm Holland and Kristina Maltby; six grandchildren, Lauren, Brett, Mark, Anne Clay, Oliver, and Evan; and five great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Community Hospice of Northeast Florida or the American Heart Association. Arrangements are by Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home, Jacksonville Beach.
