Daughter of William O. Wheatley and Clara Mable Fults. First married Leslie Langham Sammons Jr. and had one daughter, Rebecca. Then married Robert Gerold Sioke. Upon her death, she was cremated, and her ashes kept at home with her husband. After her husband passed in 2020, her ashes were interred with his at DFW National Cemetery in Dallas, Texas.
