Robert “Bob” Clutter 93, of Independence, MO passed away February 8, 2020. Visitation is 9-10 am Wednesday, February 12, 2020 at Carson-Speaks Chapel. Funeral services will follow at 10am at the chapel. Burial will take place in Mt. Washington Cemetery. Bob was born on December 29, 1926 in Independence, MO one of 6 children born to Ira and Grace (Wood) Clutter. Bob served his Country proudly in the Army. After returning home he met the love of his life, MaryAnn Blankenship. They shared 60 years together before she passed away in 2010. To this union 2 children were born, Vickie and Rick. Bob began his long career with the United States Post Office as a Railway Clerk. Over the next 43 years, Bob worked in several departments and retired from the Maintenance department. In his spare time Bob like to play piano, his computer, and tinker with different gadgets. Survivors include: daughter Vickie Reynolds and her husband Gregg; grandson Aaron Reynolds; granddaughter Annie Whalen; great granddaughter Lexie Reynolds; extended family and friends. Bob is preceded in death by his wife MaryAnn, parents, son Rick Clutter, 2 brothers and 3 sisters. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to North Care Hospice House in Bob’s memory.
