He was always so prompt, immaculate and efficient in every aspect whatever he did or challenged. He proudly served on the Arvin City Council for 2 years, and 3 terms as President, Arvin Chamber of Commerce. Wildflower Festival Co-Chairman for 15 years Robert was a proud Military Veteran and Served 4 years of duty in the US Army and Army Reserves..
Robert was a computer genius, he always had a big heart which he opened to so many and was always willing to help. Anything Randy volunteered in, Robert was right by his side, and involved in. A bond that was never broken with these two. His knowledge and expertise was truly unbelievable. Robert volunteered relentless hours for the Find A Grave foundation. He walked and photographed over 40,000 graves at Greenlawn and Hillcrest Memorial Parks including several in England on his travels. He built memorials on Find A Grave so that loved ones could go to the internet and see photos, ancestry, and obituaries that will be there forever. He truly had a compassion in helping people.
Robert and Randy met in Yuba City, CA at a family reunion in 1996 and later in June of 1997 decided to commit their lives to each other. Robert was licensed as an Insurance Broker and joined Randy in his business, which he did for the 25 years they were together. They took pride in their operations and were awarded many trips and special recognition over the years for outstanding production. He truly appreciated their secretary, Marlene Gonzalez for overseeing the office while they were away. Randy and Robert loved to travel in there many years together. They managed to complete two cross country trips in their motor home, completed 53 cruises at sea and also made their annual trips to their favorite condo in Maui, Hawaii. He was also a certified PADI scuba diver. Their motto was Work Hard, Play Hard and that they did. These are all beautiful memories that Randy will cherish forever.
