Darel Eugene Barham of Mount Shasta passed away at home on Nov. 24, 2012. He was 78 years old.
Darel was born on May 14, 1934 in Standish, Calif. He moved to Siskiyou County in 1964 from Barstow, Calif. He was a California Highway Patrolman for 30 years. Darel was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, having served in both Korea and Vietnam. He loved hunting, fishing, traveling and history.
Survivors include his sons Kirk Barham of Weed, Mike Barham of Mount Shasta and Ryan Barham of Alturas; his daughters Denise Foster of Shingletown and Anette Jones of Redding; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
