Vera W. Bee
SPRINGFIELD - Vera W. Bee, 84, of Springfield died Sunday, April 9, 2006, at St. John's Hospital.
She was born April 27, 1921, in Belleview, the daughter of Ray C. and Minnie Martin Liggett. She married Clifford F. Bee Sr. in 1939; he died in 1979. A daughter, Marilyn Sue Bee, also preceded her in death.
Mrs. Bee was a homemaker and member of Lincoln Land Baptist Church.
Survivors: daughter, Phyllis Bee-Hull of Springfield; three sons, Floyd A. (wife, Elena) Bee, Foster (wife, Libby) Bee Jr. and Raymond P. (wife, Connie) Bee, all of Springfield; 13 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; five sisters, Leota Kunz and Wilma Gant, both of Pittsfield, Joann Hobbs of Pleasant Hill and Loretta Gaffigan and Laura (husband, Rudy) Parisotto, both of Springfield; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services: 11 a.m. Wednesday, Staab Funeral Home, Dr. Rod Mattoon officiating. Burial: Oak Ridge Cemetery.
