Angelo C. Zippi Dies in Hospital
"Angelo C. Zippi, 1152 Olga St., Dickson City, died Saturday in Scranton State General Hospital shortly after admission.
Born in Dunmore, son of the late Joseph and Antoinette De Polio Zippi, he moved to Dickson City two years ago. A retired mechanic, he was employed by Moore Ford, Scranton. A Navy veteran of World War II, he was a member of St. Mary Visitation Church, Dickson City, and Its Holy Name Society. Surviving are his widow, the former Annette Killian; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Lucille Bartkowski, Dickson City; two sisters, Mrs. Nellie Poli and Mrs. Catherine Vikara, both of Dunmore; two grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews, .
The funeral will, be Tuesday from Frank Mazur Funeral Home, 519 Dundaff St., Dickson City, with mass at 9:30 a.m. in St. Marys Church. Interment, parish cemetery.
Friends may call today 2 to 4, 7 to 10 p.m. Rosary recital Monday at 8 p.m."
