Troy Benedict Boyce Penasa, 35, of the first block of West Orange Street, Shippensburg, died at 9:16 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 30 in the emergency room of Chambersburg Hospital from injuries suffered in a motorcycle accident earlier that evening. He was born July 3, 1966 in Marinette, Wisc. to Alice Eastman Boyce and the late John Boyce. He was employed as a truck driver for J.T Trucking of Shippensburg. He was of the Catholic faith. He was an artist, enjoyed surfing and was an organ donor. He is survived by his mother, and his wife, Tammy S. Worthington Penasa; one son, Tyler J. of Cape May, N.J.; two stepdaughters, Nicole Carbaugh and Patricia Diven, who live at home; three brothers, Robert Bennedict and Shean Boyce, both of Menominee, Michigan, and Paul Boyce of Marinette, Wisc.; his maternal grandmother, Freda Eastman of Marinette, Wisc.; and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, Sept. 4 at 8 p.m. in Fogelsahger-Bricker Funeral Home, Shippensburg. The Rev. Robert A. Yohe will officiate. Viewing will be at the funeral home Tuesday evening one hour before the services. Memorial contributions may be made to the Penasa family.
