TUPELO, MS – John H. Starling, 89, died Saturday, January 11, 2020 at The Meadows, Fulton, MS. He was born in Laurel, MS, was an ordained minister and a member of Tupelo Church of God. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.

Services will be Tuesday, January 14, 1 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay, AL with Bro. Judd Vowel and Bro. Gene McMinn officiating. Burial will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens, Mobile, AL. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL will be in charge of arrangements.

He is survived by his wife – Ann Starling, Tupelo, MS and her children – Jettie Faye Parson, Judy Ann Pitts, Frank Earl Garrison and Jim Garrison; three daughters – Kathryn Culver, Dari Ann Ray and Lynette McGlown; six grandchildren – Keri Ray, Jeremiah Ray, Jason Culver, Benjamin Culver, Justin McGlown and Anthony McGlown and three great-grandchildren – Giovanni Martello, Jaxon Truong and Matthew Culver.

He was preceded in death by a son, Ronnie Starling and seven brothers and sisters.

Visitation will be Tuesday, January 14, 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay, AL.
