Cecily Simpson beloved daughter of Frances Simpson of Turnerville, died of spinal meningitis, Wednesday evening September 8th. For over a week she suffered excruciating pain when kindly death came to end her suffering and unite her with her loved ones who had preceded her.
She was born in England, October 1, 1905, and came with her mother to this country in 1915. Her mother Mrs Francis Simpson, died the following year. She leaves to mourn her loss, her stepfather, Francis Simpson and little brother Thomas, and the other members of the Simpson family who lived and cared for her as their own. Her funeral was held at the meeting house in Bedford Saturday September 11. There was a large number of friends and relatives present and the kindly words spoken showed the love and esteem in which she held in the entire community.
