Marie Link passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday-New Year's Day, January 1st, 2020, at her home in Deer Park. Marie was born on August 14, 1935 with her identical twin sister Mary (Melton) in their family home located in Mica, Washington to her their parents Charley Amos Moody and Mary May Moody(Campbell). Marie has five siblings, Sylvia (preceded in death), Alice (preceded in death), May (preceded in death), Else Meenach, and Mary Melton(Lavern) both of Spokane vicinity. Marie lived in Mica, WA, until she married Gerald Lewis Berg. They had six children together. Rosemarie Berg of Deer Park, WA, Diana Loraine Stark-Newton (preceded in death), Vernon Charley Berg (Carrie) of Spokane, WA., Jannette Lois Pidcock (Bill) of Deer Park, Arlene Dale Trickey (John), and Darlene Gale Carson(Phil) of Spokane . She and Jerry were divorced and she married Edwin E. Link both (preceded in death). Marie had eighteen Grandchildren and helped raise six of them. Donna, Jody, Ray lee (preceded in death), Angela, Crystal, Josh, Jason, Amber, Eli, Melissa, Jesse, Shane (preceded in death), Laura, Amanda, James, Matt, Bethany, and Nathan. She had Thirty Great Grandchildren. She enjoyed spending time with her family, including her twin Sister Mary. She rarely missed a birthday party for the younger great-grandchildren. Her daughter Rosemarie lived with her and took her on road trips, she loved taking trips, animals, her dog, birds and especially hummingbirds. She loved holidays with her children and grandchildren, especially on Christmas. Marie and her sister Mary loved to bake cookies for both families at Christmas. She was a kind gentle soul, loving Wife, Mother, Sister, Grandmother, and Friend to all. She will be deeply missed by her family & friend's.
Marie's service was held on Sat. Feb.y 8th at 1:00 Location is Church of Christ 11515 E Broadway Spokane Valley, Reception and food followed at the same location. Her cousin's Harvey and Claude are providing the service at their church.
