Stephen Thomas Covington, 33 of Hemet, CA passed away with his loving wife by his side on Saturday, December 21, 2019, in Riverside, CA. He was born on Sunday, July 20, 1986 in Oceanside, California to Diana Covington. He was married to the love of his life, Karen Dennis for 7 wonderful years and they were together for 14 years. He moved to Hemet 25 years ago and attended Hemet High School graduating in 2004.

Board member for the Ramona Bowl Amphitheatre, he also volunteered for the Hemet Historical Theater as well as restoring the lobby, served on the City of Hemet Traffic Commission, board member of the Tinsel Triathlon, as well as providing service to many other local clubs and commitees.

Steve had an amazing eye for design and was a visionary for the revitalization of the Historic Downtown Hemet, where he opened his business, Downtown Deli and Coffee Company. He was a brilliant, passionate man with a love of history, ocean liners, and architecture. He loved his community and strived to make it better for all. Steve also loved animals and always showed his love for his many furbabies.

Surviving is his wife Karen; mother Diana Hruska ; Stepfather Douglas Hruska,; Grandparents Tom and Sally Covington; brothers Cameron and Ryan Hruska, and honorary brother, Thomas Hepburn. A Celebration of Life will be on Saturday, December 28, 2019 at 10:00 am at the Ramona Bowl, 27400 Ramona Bowl Rd, Hemet CA 92544.
