LINDA CAROL WHEELER, 52, died at 11:20 a.m. Aug. 25, 1997, at Shawnee Manor Nursing Home.
She was born July 31, 1945, in Lima to George W. and Dorothy C. Roop Wilson. Her father survives in Lima.
Ms. Wheeler was a homemaker. She was a member of Cable Road Alliance Church and Fraternal Order of Eagles Auxiliary. She was an avid bowler and bingo player.
Survivors include two daughters, Lori (Gary) Coulter of Cridersville and Kristine Wheeler of Lima; two brothers, Richard Wilson of Tustin, Calif., and Darrell Wilson of Anaheim, Calif.; a sister Joanne Fife of Maumee, and three grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a grandson.
Services will begin at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Shawnee Chapel of Chiles & Sons - Laman Funeral Homes. The Revs. Al Childers and Robert Turner will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
